We Need Your Help

There are many ways you can contribute to the Society and only some of them involve financial support.  If you have time, energy, or expertise, or just want to find out more about what we do, please go to our Volunteer Page to find ways you can donate your time -- we ALWAYS need more help!

Your financial support is crucial.  In addition to preserving, displaying, and sharing the archives and artifacts of Gouldsboro's past for future generations, we own two Historic Buildings that require long-term maintenance and loving care.  Here are some ways you can support us:

Become a member, or even better, become a Life member of the Society and never again wonder about whether it is time to renew.  Memberships make lovely gifts, too.

Attend our monthly history Programs and donate at the door  -- even if you've lived here all your life, our Programs will give you a different perspective on your hometown.

Bring your friends and relations to our "Third Saturday Bean Suppers" in the Young-Webber Hall at the Gouldsboro Historical Society, July - September.  We do the cooking, everyone has a good time.

Cleaning out the attic?  Before you consider Uncle Henry's or Goodwill, if some of your ancient treasures have an historic connection to the Town of Gouldsboro, please consider donating them to our collection. This includes letters or documents that pertain to early residents or Town life.  Send an email to our curator to find out more.

Consider the Society in your estate planning -- leave a gift in your own name or to honor someone else.  Send us an email if you would like to know more about this option.

The Gouldsboro Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) organization.  Your contributions are tax deductible.
