This year's Calendar features vintage views of regional icons of Schoodic Peninsula towns. These rediscovered images were penned by artist Ed Kalish, depicting prominent scenes, buildings, and boats in the region. Included are some fifteen of Kalish’s drawings featuring familiar sights as they looked almost four decades ago when he lived in the area. A look through these artful images will help bring to life the iconic sights many will remember from the 1980s. This calendar also gives you key dates in the history of the two Schoodic towns.

And don't forget our latest Town history, Founders and Followers by The Reverend Charles Austin Joy

This fascinating account shows Gouldsboro as a frontier town, brought to life through vivid portraits of the people who created a new settlement on the Schoodic Peninsula. Charles Joy tells the dramatic tale, peopled with flesh and blood actors whose plans, ambitions, and struggles for survival made it possible for this infant town on the Peninsula to live through two wars and near-starvation to reach ultimate success as a vital part of the new state of Maine.

The book is available by mail for $25. HERE's the ORDER FORM
